How it works

  1. 1

    Read one idea

Each article is one idea for a few minutes, and ends with what its writer wants you to take away.

  2. 2

    What it leaves you with

Every article ends with the one thing its writer wants you to keep.

  3. 3

Write what you took from it

One sentence in your own words. It goes into your journal and opens the discussion.

  4. 4

Talk with people who read it

Only readers who wrote an insight take part, so the talk stays on the idea.

What you’ll read about

Politics, news and sport are left out on purpose: wisst is for ideas that are still true next year.

Write one yourself

Know something well? Write about it. wisst shows your article to readers who chose its topic, and tells you what they took from it.

  • One idea, 100 to 800 words

Even 120 good words are an article. The steps ask for the idea first and the words last.

  • Readers before an audience

Every article starts with a small group of readers who chose its topic, and reaches more as they read it to the end. Readers who like it can follow you.

  • Or say it

Talk for a minute or two, and wisst puts what you said into the article’s parts for you to check.

That’s the end of the feed.
